Our Committees
Fundraising
Freshmen that serve on the Fundraising committee are responsible for planning different activities to raise money for FLAKE. The fundraising committee will host events like profit shares and merch sales.
Outreach
The Outreach committee's job is to find guest speakers for our general meetings and external events, as well as reaching out to the BCS area to let them know about our service and fundraising opportunities.
Publicity
Publicity does all things artsy! Freshmen in this committee are responsible for designing various merch items, planning and painting banners, and creating infographics for FLAKE's social media.
Service
The service committee is all about getting involved in the BCS community. Service will plan opportunities for FLAKE to volunteer as a group. Freshmen in this committee can also help organize donation drives for our philanthropy partner, Dallas Hope Center.
Social
The social committee is all about helping FLAKE grow closer together. Social will plan events specifically for FLAKE members, like movie nights, game nights, and holiday socials like friends-giving! Freshmen in the social committee can also plan fun open events like our End Of Year Picnic, retreats, and co-FLO hangouts.
